Interacting With

the Remote Desktop

2. To perform a “left-click”, simply tap and release your finger once where you would like to perform the click.

3. To perform a “double-click”, simply tap and release your finger twice in quick succession where you would like to double-click.  The gesture is identical to double-clicking with a real mouse.

4. At any time you may return to the page view and switch between active remote desktop sessions.  You may switch between pages by performing a “swipe” gesture, or by tapping on either side of the page control at the bottom of the view.  Simply tap on a page to make that the active page.

4 To perform a “right-click”, simply tap, hold, and then release where you would like to perform the right-click.  You must hold your finger down for almost an entire second.

5. To perform a drag operation, the gesture is almost identical to a double click, except instead of releasing your finger on the second tap, hold your finger down on the screen.  Then drag your finger to where you would like to drag to.  When you are finished dragging, release your finger.  The sequence is as follows: tap, release, tap, hold, drag, release.

1. To zoom in and out on the Windows desktop, perform the normal “pinch” and “stretch” gestures.

6. At any time you may rotate your iPhone/iPod into landscape mode and the Windows desktop will automatically rotate accordingly.

7. To perform text entry, the keyboard can be deployed by pressing the “ABC” button in the top left corner of a remote desktop session.  Regardless of your current device orientation, the keyboard will appear.  To retract the keyboard, press the “ABC” button again.
